Online Residence Permit

This is how you apply to extent your short term residence permit with real estate ownership. In case you are applying for the first time, a certified appraiser will need to check your property to ensure that the true value of the property is in excess of USD 100K.

1- Go to Public Service Development Agency web page :

2- Hit "New application"

Type of Residence permit : Short-term residence permit
Subtypes : Real Estate ownership

3- Required documents to be uploaded  :
    - Copy of Passport
    - Picture of the residence permit applicant, photo.
    - Extract from the Public Registry Agency, title deed
    - Visa or document certifying legal residence in Georgia, residence permit if you already have one.

4- Real estate’s cadastral code will be needed. When you complete the form click on the "save" button. Your application will be created and you will receive an application number and an application code. (You can revisit your application anytime with this application number and code. Just visit https://sda.gov.ge/?page_id=11645&lang=en , hit "search the application" link at the end of the options. Use your  application number and an application code to login to your application)

5- Call sda.gov.ge via Skype to confirm the application. The operator will ask your application number.

6- The operator will check your application and return back to you via Skype. In case the operator asks for a new document, you need to upload the document and click save button at the end of the application form again. When you complete the form you need to call the operator again. If everything is in order, the operator will activate the bank payment sign next to the camera sign on your application form. Follow the link for the payment. (Use right click to Google Translate if the text is in Georgian.)

7- When you pay the fee, call back the operator again on his/her skype address to inform.

8- The operator will check the payment and then call you back for the video interview. Have your passport ready to show.

9- When your application is accepted, it will be forwarded to the Citizenship and Migration Division of the Public Service Development Agency for further consideration . You will receive an e-mail with your new accepted application number and a new code.

10 -To check your application status visit : (in case new documents required you need to upload or send them )  https://sda.gov.ge/?page_id=13122&lang=en Click on "Search the application" link and login to your application with your application number and code.

11- If required, all attached documents should be submitted from registering application within 5 days in the Public Service Development Agency of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia at the address: (Use Georgian Post with tracking id. )
